PC Requirements

The requirements depends strongly on the size of the Wiki that is to be analyzed. The size of the RAM has thereby a special importance. During the analyses the RAM will be first the bottle neck.

Reqirements for an analysis of a wiki like Wikiversity

Analyses are also possible with capacity-faint PCs, but these requirements permit an efficient work.

  • CPU: minimum 1 GHZ
  • RAM: minimum 1 GB - recommended 2 GB
  • Disk: depends on the analysed wiki - e.g. dewikiversity needs ~2GB dewikipedia needs ~500GB
  • Display size: should be more than 1024x768
